Meet Miss Wisconsin 2018, Tianna Vanderhei

July 17, 2018

We are excited to welcome Miss Wisconsin 2018 to this year’s show! Tianna Vanderhei will be on-site throughout the afternoon for a Meet & Greet session and autograph signing (1:30pm – 2:30pm). Tianna will also assist with the awards presentation and speak about her personal platform “Soft Skills 4 Success: Empowering Our Workforce” (3:15pm – 3:30pm).

Wisconsin Rapids native Tianna Vanderhei was crowned Miss Wisconsin 2018 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Alberta Kimball Auditorium in Oshkosh. Tianna began competing within the Miss America Organization at the age of 17 as a senior at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. Since the fall of 2010, she has competed in 11 local competitions, held six local titles, and received more than $20,000 in scholarships.

Tianna graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational and professional communication studies with a minor in sports broadcasting. Upon graduating, she worked as a multi-media journalist and fill-in news anchor for WXOW News 19 in La Crosse, Wisconsin before relocating and pursuing a new position in advertising sales in the fall of 2017. She hopes to pursue her master’s degree in marketing or communications in the future.

During Tianna’s year of service to the state of Wisconsin, she will promote her personal platform — “Soft Skills 4 Success: Empowering Our Workforce” — while simultaneously serving as a goodwill ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the national charity partner of the Miss America Organization.
